Archie Reed is someone I will never forget. He was great for reaching out and making someones life more meaningful in so many ways. He's was my friend (later unknowingly, my father-In-Law) who lead me into the importance of being a Volunteer Firefighter. He was a Chief who created a Fire Department around many good people, then we built a Firehall together. Archie gave his being on duty, for the safety of others. He's a true Hero.

A folded flag.... Bunker gear arranged..... Honor Guard presents their brother or sisters helmet to the family..... The pipes play... We are given much responsibility. Watch our brother or sisters back. Protect the public. Save lives and property. We do this every moment of everyday because its who we are..... To whom much is given, much is required. And as we say.... some gave all. Greater love hath no man, than he lay down his life for a friend. There is no more somber a moment than when they sound the tones for a fallen brother or sister's Last Call..... "To whom much is given, much is required."
